The 1977 founded, independent agency has expanded its role with 8-year client IKEA Canada, leading several integrated marketing projects as its Activation Agency. From branding to 360 communications, PIGEON has delivered fresh new strategic and creative mandates in sustainability, agro-food, personal care, and sports marketing for clients such as Nutrinor, Hershey, Danone, Nortera, Chef Frankie, Irving Group and CF Montreal. With its success stemming from deep roots in brand strategy and design, the agency has also expanded its mandate as Metro’s partner for its private label brands.
The agency has secured new mandates from Canadian and US clients in CPG, food, plant-based, pet care and healthcare categories, with clients such as: Perdue Farms, Wells, Omni Foods (Green Monday), Intersand, Flourish, Dose Juices, CIUSS West Central and Biron Health Group.

Gillian Brown (Isaac Reputation, Immersion Media, JWT, TBWA) is promoted to Account Director and Head of 360 Integrated Communications. A unique hybrid of CS leader and senior producer with an energetic, enthusiastic and often-times, hilarious approach to project management, Gillian has brought over 13+ years’ experience managing clients, agency teams, developing cross functional campaigns and producing online, print, broadcast, packaging, and events, for clients in CPG, retail, financial, Teleco and automotive clients.
Anne Pilliard (Servaire & Co, Sephora, William Grant & Sons) is promoted to Group Account Director. Anne has brought Pigeon over 15 years of experience in CPG, both on the client and agency side and in trade and consumer communication. She has strong expertise in project management in varied channels, with a razor focus on driving business results. She has worked on globally recognized brands in luxury goods and fine spirits such as Guerlain, Lancôme, Cointreau, Piper-Heidsieck, Hennessy, Dom Pérignon or Remy Martin.
The client service team is further amplified with newcomers such as Kevin Cornista (theturnlab, Facebook, MKTG, Deloitte) as Account Supervisor and Sandra Lupien (Belron Canada) as Account Coordinator.
Pigeon welcomes new talent Patrick De Varennes and Rebeca Lyttle.
Patrick De Varennes (Behaviour, Studio Onoma, NEXTMOVE, Stingray) joins Pigeon as Art Director. He brings over 20 years of experience in television and agency realms having worked at MusiquePlus, Musimax, Vtéleé and Stingray music, where he oversaw print, digital, television and set design. Patrick’s impressive record of accomplishment in branding, packaging, advertising, motion design, publishing and events has led him to execute projects with major clients like: Metro, IGA, Astral, SNC-Lavalin, Couche-tard, Molson, Marriot, Boston Pizza, Cirque du Soleil, and Tourisme Montreal, to name a few.
The strategy team is further reinforced with the arrival of Rebecca Lyttle (The&Partnership, Corby Spirit & Wine, Irish Distillers), Strategic Planner. Rebecca brings 7 years of international marketing and advertising experience within the consumer goods and service industries. Her portfolio includes working with iconic brands such as Canada Post, Jameson, and J.P. Wiser’s. Having held both client marketing roles and strategy position, she brings a diverse viewpoint to further bring valuable, informative, and actionable insights to the table.
